Sernapesca Confirms ISA Outbreak in Aysén Region
22 December 2016CHILE - An outbreak of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) has been detected on a salmon farm in the Aysén region of Chile.
The case was detected last week by Sernapesca officials, who obtained samples which were positive for the HPR 7B variant of the virus.
The farm is owned by Cermaq Chile SA and located at ACS 33, in Aysén.
